I Need Staff Today Limited, a recruitment agency based in Codsall, is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Machine Operator to join a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing business in Telford. Working within a modern production facility, you will be trained to operate punch press machinery used in the manufacture of precision components from lightweight metals such as aluminium. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking a long-term role with the potential to become permanent.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operating punch press and associated production machinery
- Manufacturing components to quality specifications
- Working with light gauge metals including aluminium
- Conducting visual quality inspections
- Following production targets and work instructions
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety
- Reporting any production or machinery issues to supervisors
