Pay Rates:
- Punch Press Operator (Day Shift): £14.40 per hour
- Punch Press Setter (Day Shift): £15.60 per hour
- Night Shift Premium: + £1.50 per hour added to the above rates
- Night Operator Rate: £15.90/hour
- Night Setter Rate: £17.10/hour
We are recruiting an experienced Punch Press Setter/Operator for a well-established sheet-metal fabrication company in Wolverhampton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating CNC punch press machines
- Selecting tooling, loading material, and adjusting machine parameters
- Working from engineering drawings and production plans
- Inspecting completed parts and ensuring quality compliance
- Maintaining workspace cleanliness and safety standards
Required Skills & Experience:
- CNC punch press experience
- Trumpf punch / Amada press brake experience highly desirable
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work with tight tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
- Physically able to lift, push, and move sheet-metal materials
- Previous sheet-metal fabrication experience preferred
Hours: Monday-Wednesday: 4:30pm-3:00am, Thursday 4:30pm - 2am
Benefits: 31 days annual leave including bank holidays and Christmas shutdown
