Pay Rates:
- Press Brake Operator (Day Shift): £14.40 per hour
- Press Brake Setter (Day Shift): £15.60 per hour
- Night Shift Premium: + £1.50 per hour added to the above rates
- Night Operator Rate: £15.90/hour
- Night Setter Rate: £17.10/hour
We are recruiting an experienced Press Brake Setter/Operator on behalf of a successful and fast-growing subcontract sheet-metal fabrication company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating Amada press brakes to manufacture components
- Selecting correct tooling and adjusting press brake settings
- Working from engineering drawings and production plans
- Carrying out quality checks on finished parts
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Following all company and health & safety procedures
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven press brake experience, Amada preferred
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Competence using measuring tools and checking tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
- Physically capable of lifting, moving, and loading materials
- Background in sheet-metal fabrication or similar environment
Hours (night shift): Monday-Wednesday: 4:30pm-3:00am, Thursday: 4:30pm - 2am
Benefits: 31 days annual leave including bank holidays and Christmas shutdown
