I Need Staff Today Limited is currently recruiting a Linisher to join a well-established company based in Telford. This is a night shift role offering a competitive hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating linishing machinery safely and efficiently
- Finishing and smoothing metal components to required standards
- Inspecting finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a linisher or in a similar metal finishing role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

LINISHER DEFINITION
A linisher works with metal parts, using a linishing machine (a type of industrial sanding and polishing machine) to:
- Smooth rough edges on metal components
- Remove sharp edges, weld marks, or imperfections
- Prepare metal parts so they are safe, neat, and ready for use or painting
This is a hands-on, manual role in a manufacturing environment, usually standing for most of the shift.
