I Need Staff Today Limited are recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety and Compliance Officer to join a well-established company within the heavy recycling / metal recycling industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and knowledgeable HSE professional to oversee multiple operational sites and ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
The Role:
- Overseeing health & safety and compliance across multiple sites
- Main site based in Bourne, with responsibility for:
- Immingham (Export facility)
- Boston
- Peterborough
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety / Compliance role
- Background in heavy recycling, waste management, or metal recycling preferred
- Strong knowledge of UK HSE regulations and compliance standards
- Experience with auditing, risk assessments, and reporting
- Ability to manage multiple sites and travel as required
- Relevant H&S qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH) desirable
