Senior Authorised Person β High Voltage (HV) SAP β I. Municipalidad de Recoleta, North East & North Yorkshire, United Kingdom
Role Summary
Reporting to the senior management team, the Senior Authorised Person will support the operational delivery of HV and LV network projects, ensuring all work is executed safely, professionally and to high industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside site personnel on HV & LV networks, assets and systems.
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of HV/LV distribution systems.
- Plan and coordinate HV/LV projects, managing budgets and delivering on time.
- Produce detailed reports, documenting works undertaken and monitoring project budgets.
- Execute switching, SFT, PTW and other network works across multiple sites.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, maintaining a professional and courteous approach.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrable experience and technical expertise as an HV SAP (LV to HV/EHV) within the power, utilities or critical national electrical infrastructure sectors.
- Current or recent DNO or private network SAP authorisation.
- Full UK driving licence holder with willingness to travel.
- Proficient IT user across smartphones, tablets and laptops.
- Minimum of an HNC in electrical or electronic engineering.
- Experience in assessing hazardous situations, carrying out site risk assessments (RAMS) and issuing safety documents.
