We are looking for an Environmental Consultant with at least 3-5 years of experience in the contaminated land, soil, ground, or remediation sectors. An attractive basic salary of cĀ£35,000 – Ā£45,000 is on offer, plus a permanent benefits package which includes a company van, bonus, and expenses. Locations include London, Reading, Romford, and Chatham. The Person You will possess a relevant degree within the environmental or earth sciences field. You will possess at least 3-5 years of experience within the environmental, remediation, or contaminated land sectors. Ability to manage and deliver projects on time and within budget with a basic understanding of cost management at a site level. You will be expected to combine site work with office or home-based technical works, along with general project management and staff mentoring. Demonstrable site work competency including an appreciation of H&S requirements. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to relate to people at all levels in an organization, and establish and maintain respect professionally and personally. Familiarity with relevant technical industry requirements or regulations. Excellent numerical skills including data interpretation, and confident IT skills. Overview Our client has a strategy to grow significantly over the next three to five years and offers an exciting opportunity for a Geo-Environmental Consultant to play a key role in realizing this strategy. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience and technical expertise in this arena. Responsibilities include managing and delivering projects across various sectors, conducting technical reviews, report writing, liaising with clients and regulatory authorities, and ensuring health and safety compliance. The Role Supervision of remediation and site investigations, soil sampling, contaminated land, and geo-environmental projects and sites. Collect and organize data to produce reports for internal management and clients. Ensure the safe, profitable, and timely delivery of responsibilities across multiple sites and projects. Contribute to proposal writing, interpretative reporting, and report writing. Prepare factual and interpretative geo-environmental and contaminated land reports, including Desk Studies, Phase I & II Site Investigations, DQRA, remediation strategies, and verification reports. Maintain professional relationships internally and externally to maximize project opportunities and profitability. Work proactively and effectively to meet or exceed individual and team targets. They offer a wide range of soil and groundwater remediation treatments and design sustainable environmental solutions for the public sector, property developers, construction contractors, and the chemical and petrochemical industries.
