We’re working with a fast-growing, design-led homeware and gifting brand whose products bring joy, creativity, and style into everyday life. Supplying thousands of high street retailers, independents, and online partners worldwide, this is a business known for its quality, innovation, and playful approach to design. They’re now looking for an experienced Amazon & Marketplace Manager to take ownership of their UK and international marketplace strategy, driving growth, optimising performance, and leading a small, high-performing team.
As Amazon & Marketplace Manager, you’ll lead the brand’s presence across Amazon and other key online marketplaces, blending analytical insight with commercial instinct to drive sales, improve visibility, and enhance customer experience. You’ll take charge of all aspects of marketplace operations, from strategy and pricing to content, advertising, and logistics, ensuring listings perform at their peak. With a natural eye for detail and a strategic mindset, you’ll manage a talented team of E-commerce Executives and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to maximise revenue and brand impact across every channel.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and Grow Marketplace Channels: Drive, manage, and optimise Amazon and marketplace performance across UK and international territories.
- Strategic Insight: Analyse sales trends, performance data, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Product Listings: Upload new products and imagery, refresh existing listings, manage variations, and ensure each page is visually engaging and commercially optimised.
- International Expansion: Manage translations and product uploads across European and global marketplaces.
- Promotions & Pricing: Oversee pricing strategy, re-pricing tools, and promotional planning to maximise sales and profitability.
- Inventory & Forecasting: Manage stock levels, forecast demand, and place purchase orders in collaboration with the wider team.
- Brand Protection: Monitor and remove counterfeit or unauthorised listings across marketplaces.
- Customer Experience: Take ownership of marketplace feedback and reviews, ensuring excellent service standards across all channels.
- Reporting & Analysis: Deliver actionable insights from “live” sales reports, analysing profitability and campaign performance.
- Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of three E-commerce Executives, setting clear goals, mentoring, and encouraging innovation.
- Finance & Operations: Process quarterly invoices, manage marketplace-related admin, and support the accountant with year-end financials for UK and US operations.
About You
You’re a confident marketplace specialist with a deep understanding of Amazon Vendor Central and other e-commerce platforms. Analytical yet creative, you know how to balance commercial targets with brand integrity. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are excited by the opportunity to shape and scale a growing global business.
Experience & Skills:- 4+ years’ experience in a similar Amazon/Marketplace role - Vendor experience essential.
- Proven success in Amazon Advertising (Seller Central and Vendor Central).
- Strong technical knowledge of marketplace platforms and tools.
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Jungle Scout, Helium10, or similar tools is advantageous.
- Confident leader with experience managing small teams.
- Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and driven by results.
- Proactive, organised, and passionate about continuous improvement.
- A team player who enjoys contributing to a positive, creative culture.
