Ready to play a key role in bringing exciting products to life? We have an exciting opportunity to join the Product team at a creative consumer business whose innovative collections are sold through leading retailers across the UK and internationally. As Production Coordinator you’ll be the link between Product Development, Sales, the Technical team, and their global manufacturing partners, keeping projects on track from order placement right through to production and delivery. You’ll ensure products are manufactured by the most suitable factories, using the best possible materials, and meeting all agreed timelines and specifications. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing multiple production projects from order confirmation through to final shipment
- Creating and maintaining critical paths to ensure products are delivered on time
- Working closely with overseas suppliers to coordinate production schedules and resolve any issues
- Reviewing product specifications, packaging and artwork to ensure everything is production-ready
- Coordinating sample approvals, organising internal review meetings and managing supplier feedback
- Working collaboratively with Product Development, Technical, Sales and Logistics teams to deliver products that meet quality, cost and delivery expectations
- Monitoring production progress, identifying risks early and implementing solutions to keep projects on track
- Supporting product quality and compliance throughout the production process
- Helping identify new suppliers and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Visiting suppliers and international trade fairs when required
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience within Production, Product Development, or Buying Coordination
- Experience within consumer products, gifting, homewares, stationery or retail supply advantageous
- Experience working with overseas suppliers and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with suppliers and internal teams
- A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a busy, fast-moving environment
- Commercially aware with a passion for delivering high-quality consumer products
- Good Microsoft Office skills and confidence working with product management systems
