Job Responsibilities:
- Lead employer engagement activities to meet service goals.
- Develop and manage relationships with employers to increase job opportunities.
- Organize and enhance current engagement activities like job fairs and events.
- Work with the team to design and deliver training for participants.
- Set and achieve targets with the management team.
- Supervise the engagement team, focusing on staff development and performance.
- Identify areas for improvement and create strategies to enhance engagement.
- Use knowledge and research to find new collaboration opportunities.
- Maintain records and ensure data protection compliance.
- Identify and manage operational risks.
- Ensure compliance with council policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with the wider team to promote the service.
- Perform additional tasks as required for smooth service operation.
Person Specification:
- Must Have:
- Qualification in management or related field.
- Experience in employer engagement and managing relationships.
- Ability to plan and evaluate recruitment and training initiatives.
- Experience in team supervision and development.
- Understanding of local recruitment market and employment legislation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent ICT skills and attention to detail.
