Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for the council's asset management function
- Lead and oversee asset management strategies in line with corporate objectives
- Manage and deliver complex asset-related programmes and projects
- Ensure effective governance, risk management, and compliance across the asset portfolio
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, elected members, and external partners
- Support decision-making through clear reporting and performance monitoring
- Drive continuous improvement and value for money across council assets
Person Specification:
Must-Have Requirements:
- Proven senior-level experience in asset management
- Strong strategic leadership and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated project management expertise
- Experience working within a local authority or public sector environment
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Eligibility to work in the UK
