Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Pay Rate: PAYE: 325.00 per day
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide SEMH and behaviour outreach support to mainstream schools to improve inclusion and reduce suspensions and permanent exclusions.
- Support schools to identify pupils with SEMH needs early and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Coordinate and deliver the Experts at Hand model, ensuring timely access to specialist SEMH advice and support.
- Manage a caseload of pupils with SEMH needs, behavioural challenges or those at risk of exclusion.
- Work collaboratively with schools, families and multi-agency professionals to develop coordinated support plans.
- Deliver training, coaching and professional development for teachers, SENCOs, inclusion leads and pastoral staff.
- Support schools to develop inclusive behaviour policies, SEMH strategies and whole-school approaches.
- Analyse attendance, behaviour, suspension and exclusion data to inform interventions and service improvement.
- Support reintegration of pupils through the Fair Access Panel and alternative provision pathways.
- Facilitate school-to-school collaboration and share best practice across educational settings.
