Job Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advocacy and advice on behalf of Gloucestershire County Council.
  • Represent the Council in court proceedings and hearings as required.
  • Draft, review, and manage legal documents and correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate records and case files in line with professional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Liaise with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders professionally and promptly.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in law and legal practice that affect Council activities.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister, admitted to practice in the UK.
  • Proven experience in advocacy and legal case management.
  • Strong understanding of relevant UK law and legal procedures.
