Housing Project Manager

Location: High Street, Esher, KT10 9SD

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 4+ Months

Working Hours: Mon Fri, 09:00, 37 Hours per week

Pay Rate: £25.62 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Work on housing projects to ensure successful delivery.
  • Identify and implement service improvements.
  • Coordinate with partner agencies and stakeholders like charities and landlords.
  • Support the Housing Strategy and Enabling Manager in project delivery.
  • Manage project staff as needed.
  • Develop and deliver project documents; assist colleagues and manage expectations.
  • Submit grant claims and activity data to government agencies.
  • Align projects to ensure successful delivery and staff understanding of roles.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant guidance.

Qualifications

Must Have

  • Educated to A-Level standard, including GCSEs in English and Maths.
  • Significant experience in delivering high-quality face-to-face services.
  • Experience in building relationships with landlords and housing providers.
  • Understanding and appreciation of equality, diversity, and safeguarding.
  • Organized with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management.
  • Sound knowledge of welfare benefits and tenancy law.

Nice to Have

  • Qualification in project management.
  • Experience in supporting vulnerable groups and refugees.
  • Experience providing housing advice.
  • Direct experience in managing housing or resettlement projects.
  • Understanding of challenges facing refugees and asylum seekers.
  • Full valid UK driving license.
