Job Responsibilities
- Provide expert business analysis and process improvement support across Housing Improvement Programme (HIP) workstreams.
- Analyse and improve processes relating to housing safety, quality and compliance, repairs, voids and lettings, leasehold and tenancy management.
- Use data analysis to identify trends, root causes, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain advanced Power BI reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
- Use advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyse and interpret complex datasets.
- Cleanse, validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Translate complex analysis into clear, practical recommendations and improvement actions.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and support the delivery of process improvements.
- Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Person Specification
Must-Have Requirements
- Strong experience in business analysis and process improvement.
- Experience working with complex business processes, preferably within housing or a related public sector environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and trend identification.
- Advanced Power BI development skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in data cleansing, validation and reconciliation.
- Strong numerical and statistical skills.
- Ability to identify root causes and turn data into practical improvement insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Demonstrable ability to work effectively with stakeholders across multiple workstreams.
Nice-to-Have Requirements
- Experience working within a local authority or social housing environment.
- Knowledge of housing safety, repairs, voids and lettings, leasehold or tenancy management.
- Experience supporting large-scale housing improvement or transformation programmes.
- Experience of using data and business intelligence to drive service improvement.
