Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage compliance contracts covering electrical, fire safety and lift services.
- Ensure all statutory inspections, testing and remedial works are completed on time.
- Monitor contractor performance and service delivery against agreed standards.
- Review risk assessments, certification and compliance documentation.
- Provide technical advice to internal stakeholders on building compliance matters.
- Manage budgets, variations and contract documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation and Council policies.
- Prepare performance reports and attend review meetings.
Person Specification:
Must-Have Requirements:
- Proven experience managing compliance contracts within building services or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, fire safety and lift regulations.
- Experience overseeing statutory compliance and contractor performance.
- Good understanding of health and safety legislation.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
- Experience working within a local authority or public sector environment.
