We're recruiting a Business Analyst to support the HR & Payroll SAP implementation project within Council. This is a key interim role, ideal for someone experienced in business process design, stakeholder engagement, and change management.
About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you'll lead on business process design and support the Business Change Workstream. You'll work closely with SMEs, Change Managers, and Process Owners to ensure effective process mapping, knowledge transfer, and continuity post go-live.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Owning the design of priority business processes across Finance, HR, Payroll, Procurement, IT, and Directorate impacts
- Facilitating process design workshops with Change Managers, SMEs, and Process Owners
- Creating a library of To-Be Business Process maps to illustrate future workflows
- Identifying key areas of process change and supporting stakeholder analysis
- Supporting SMEs, Change Managers, and Training Consultants with process knowledge transfers
- Contributing to the new Target Operating Model and process design
- Supporting business continuity and sustaining change post go-live
Requirements:
- Strong experience in business process design and analysis
- Ability to facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders effectively
- Knowledge of HR & Payroll systems (SAP experience desirable)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with SMEs, Process Owners, and Change Managers
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
