Job Description
Job Advert: Electrical Inspector (Temporary)\\n\\nPosition: Electrical Inspector\\nContract Type: Temporary, 3 Month contract\\nPossible Extension: Yes\\nPay Rate: £22.15 per hour (PAYE)\\nWeekly Hours: 36 Hours per week\\nWorking Hours: 08:00 AM – 05:30 PM\\nLocation: SE1 2QH\\n\\nRole Overview:\\n\\nTo carry out detailed site and professional electrical inspections & condition surveys.\\n\\nTo monitor the quality of works by contractors, external specialist consultants, and other agencies to facilitate high levels of service delivery with the preparation of weekly service provider and site reports.\\n\\nTo carry out design surveys with the service provider and sign off the quality and content of work in each property and section of work.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nTo ensure appropriate monitoring systems are in place and to prepare reports for Senior Management and Area Forums as required.\\nEvaluate the effectiveness of contracts, service providers, products and and make recommendations on changes or developments as required. Monitoring and reporting on various areas such as quality, customer care, application, maintenance requirements, etc. \\nResponsible for detailed site inspections.
Completes detailed survey forms that direct the contractor regarding the level and location of works to be carried out.\\nWorking closely with the contractor to ensure that the correct and appropriate works and specifications are specified and delivered. Taking corrective action when they are not. \\nResponsible for the clerk of works functions.
Monitors the progress of the works.\\nSigns off the content and quality of each property and/or section of work.
