Job Responsibilities:
- Support planning and environmental protection activities within the local authority
- Assess and provide technical input on planning applications in relation to environmental health impacts
- Ensure compliance with relevant environmental protection legislation and policies
- Liaise with internal departments, external agencies, and stakeholders as required
- Investigate and respond to environmental protection enquiries and complaints
- Prepare clear written reports and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and case documentation
