Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee quality assurance activity within Children’s Social Care
  • Manage and coordinate monthly practice audits and thematic audits
  • Identify key learning from audit activity and quality findings
  • Facilitate learning forums to ensure lessons are embedded into practice
  • Support preparation for Ofsted inspections and monitoring visits
  • Contribute to driving continuous practice improvement across the Quality Assurance service
  • Strengthen quality assurance capacity to support service development

Qualifications:

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Significant experience within Children’s Social Care
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance frameworks and audit processes
  • Experience supporting or preparing for Ofsted inspections
  • Ability to analyse practice, identify learning, and promote improvement
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

  • Experience leading thematic audits
  • Background in service improvement or performance management
  • Experience facilitating learning or reflective practice forums
