Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the finance team to manage financial accounting, reporting, and internal controls.
- Help prepare revenue budgets and close accounts monthly and quarterly.
- Monitor expenses and prepare grant claims and statistical returns.
- Oversee income billing and cashflow processes.
- Manage the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger transactions with supporting documentation.
- Maintain banking arrangements, including bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting.
- Assist with VAT account reconciliation and monthly VAT returns.
- Contribute to improving financial processes and documentations.
- Participate actively in promoting equality and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Work from various locations as required.
Person Specifications:
Must Have:
- AAT Level 2 or equivalent qualification in accounting.
- Basic understanding of accounting functions.
- Experience in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Ability to produce high-quality work and maintain good working papers.
