Position: Business Analyst

Location: 64 Victoria Street, London, Greater London, SW1E6QP

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 3+ Months

Working Hours: 36 hours per week

Pay Rate: Β£220.59 Per Day

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyse complex housing and asset datasets to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Identify and address data quality issues, duplication, and process inefficiencies across housing services.
  • Support asset lifecycle planning and investment programmes using data-driven insights.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, heatmaps, and performance metrics to monitor and communicate key information.
  • Enable predictive maintenance and risk-based service delivery models through data analysis.
  • Collaborate with Housing, IT, and other stakeholders to improve systems, processes, and data usage.
  • Contribute to digital and transformation initiatives within the Housing Directorate.
  • Produce business analysis outputs, including process maps, requirements documentation, and project reports.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, data governance, and ICT security standards.
  • Liaise with system providers regarding improvements, upgrades, and issue resolution.

Person Specification:

  • Essential
  • Strong experience in data analysis and business analysis.
  • Proficient with tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets.
  • Ability to translate technical insights into clear, non-technical recommendations.
  • Proven experience delivering data-driven change or transformation initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience within housing, asset management, or local government.
  • Knowledge of Building Safety, Decent Homes standards, or housing regulations.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Understanding of data standards, governance frameworks, and GDS guidelines.
