We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Warrington. This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing the commercial and contractual performance of our civil engineering projects from tender through to final account.
The Role
- Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects
- Supporting project teams on all commercial matters
- Administering contracts in line with company procedures
- Managing subcontract procurement, payments, and final accounts
- Preparing applications for payment, variations, and cost reports
- Identifying and managing risks, claims, and opportunities
- Attending site and progress meetings
- Supporting tender and pre-construction activities where required
About You
- Experience in a Quantity Surveying role within civil engineering or construction
- Strong understanding of NEC, JCT, or similar contracts
- Commercially aware, organised, and able to manage multiple projects
- Confident communicator with good negotiation skills
- Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar
- Experience managing projects through to final account
- Knowledge of UK construction practices and standards
- Full UK driving licence
