We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Warrington. This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing the commercial and contractual performance of our civil engineering projects from tender through to final account.
The Role
- Work closely with operational teams and senior management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with contractual requirements.
- Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of projects.
- Support project teams on all commercial matters.
- Administer contracts in line with company procedures.
- Manage subcontract procurement, payments, and final accounts.
- Prepare applications for payment, variations, and cost reports.
- Identify and manage risks, claims, and opportunities.
- Attend site and progress meetings.
- Support tender and pre-construction activities where required.
About You
- Experience in a Quantity Surveying role within civil engineering or construction.
- Strong understanding of NEC, JCT, or similar contracts.
- Commercially aware, organised, and able to manage multiple projects.
- Confident communicator with good negotiation skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar.
- Experience managing projects through to final account.
- Knowledge of UK construction practices and standards.
- Full UK driving licence.
