We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Warrington. This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing the commercial and contractual performance of our civil engineering projects from tender through to final account.

The Role

  • You will work closely with operational teams and senior management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects
  • Supporting project teams on all commercial matters
  • Administering contracts in line with company procedures
  • Managing subcontract procurement, payments, and final accounts
  • Preparing applications for payment, variations, and cost reports
  • Identifying and managing risks, claims, and opportunities
  • Attending site and progress meetings
  • Supporting tender and pre-construction activities where required

About You

  • Experience in a Quantity Surveying role within civil engineering or construction
  • Strong understanding of NEC, JCT, or similar contracts
  • Commercially aware, organised, and able to manage multiple projects
  • Confident communicator with good negotiation skills
  • Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar
  • Experience managing projects through to final account
  • Knowledge of UK construction practices and standards
  • Full UK driving licence
