This is a varied role that will see you working across our civil engineering business and our wider divisions, including plant hire, development, farming & estates, and energy. You will help us tell the story of what we do, showcase our projects and people, and communicate the values and reputation built over more than 60 years.

From creating engaging social media and website content to supporting bids, events, case studies, photography, video, and social value initiatives, no two days are likely to be the same.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support the delivery of our marketing and communications activities, working closely with teams across the business to capture and share the great work underway across our projects and operations.
  • Create and coordinate content for social media, our website, internal communications, case studies, and project updates.
  • Support marketing campaigns, events, awards, client communications, and promotional activity.
  • Work with operational, commercial, and bid teams to gather project information and turn technical information into engaging content.
  • Develop project profiles, case studies, and photography/video plans to showcase our expertise, people, innovation, and achievements.
  • Support bid and tender submissions, including bid writing and marketing content where required.

  • Support photography and videography across projects and company activities.
  • Coordinate relationships with external marketing suppliers, photographers, designers, printers, and event providers.
  • Support our social value activity, helping to capture and communicate our work with local communities, schools, colleges, apprentices, and charities.
  • Monitor marketing and social media activity and use insights to help improve our communications and engagement.
  • Keep up to date with marketing, communications, and industry trends and bring fresh ideas to the business.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is creative, confident, and highly organised, with a genuine interest in marketing and communications. Ideally, you will have a degree, qualification, or relevant experience in marketing, communications, or a related discipline. Experience within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, or another B2B environment would be beneficial, but we are equally interested in someone who can demonstrate the right skills, creativity, and enthusiasm.

You'll need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to turn information into engaging content.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Confidence working with colleagues across the office, site, and management teams.
  • Experience using social media and digital marketing platforms.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
  • Experience with website content management systems and basic marketing analytics would be advantageous.
  • A creative mindset and the confidence to bring new ideas to the table.
  • The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
