We are a leading eCommerce fulfilment solutions business, our headquarters are in Christchurch, and we have a new state-of-the-art office space near Bournemouth Airport. Due to continued expansion, we now have the opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Hurn.
The role will involve supervising the day-to-day performance and effectiveness of the Warehouse team. You will oversee performance of warehouse team, identify areas for improvement, and suggest ways to boost efficiency and reduce operational issues to enhance pick and pack output.
Working Hours Monday - Friday 5pm - 10pm 25 hours per week
Key areas of responsibility:
- To supervise the day-to-day performance and effectiveness of the warehouse team
- Inducting new staff and ensuring their competency and confidence in the role.
- Hold regular staff catch ups, maintain a communication culture within the team that develops two-way feedback and ensures open communication on a regular basis and at all levels.
- Oversee any staffing issues ensuring these are accurately dealt with
- To oversee the agency staff relationship including costs and daily manning requirements
- To oversee Health and Safety and adhere to all H&S policies and procedures and to escalate any issues that may arise to the H&S Manager
- To ensure clean and tidy working environment and that staff are using all required PPE
- Ensuring work is carried out to a high-quality standard.
- To oversee signing off on completion of all products to ensure quality is being maintained at the highest levels across the whole process and addressing any issues that arise
- Key holder responsibility including unlocking and locking work premises
- Any other duties as assigned
