About the role: A friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice will join a busy community pharmacy team in NE63 0NG. The role offers hands-on experience in a healthcare environment with the opportunity to earn while you learn, progressing towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
Key Duties:
- Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries
- Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision
- Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records
- Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality
- Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- GCSEs at A-C or 4-9, or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential (can be provided as part of the course)
- For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course

Apprenticeship Details:
