- AWS Security Consultant
- Contract | UK | Customer-Facing AWS Professional Services
We're looking for experienced AWS Security Consultants to support the delivery of security engagements across a range of enterprise customers.
This is a hands-on implementation role, working as part of a wider AWS security team to deploy AWS-native security controls and help customers build secure cloud environments.
You'll be joining complex transformation projects where you'll be expected to contribute from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement AWS security controls across enterprise AWS environments
- Configure and deploy AWS security services including Guard Duty, Security Hub, AWS Config, Cloud Trail and KMS
- Secure AWS networking including VPCs, Security Groups and Network ACLs
- Build and deploy security solutions using Terraform, Cloud Formation or AWS CDK
- Develop automation using Python and AWS Lambda
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and Dev Sec Ops processes
- Configure AWS WAF, Shield and Cognito where required
- Work closely with customers and technical stakeholders to deliver secure AWS solutions
Essential Skills & Experience
- AWS Certified Security β Specialty (essential)
- AWS Solutions Architect β Associate (Professional desirable)
- Strong hands-on AWS security implementation experience
- Experience with AWS IAM, Guard Duty, Security Hub, AWS Config, Cloud Trail and KMS
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Cloud Formation or AWS CDK
- Strong Python scripting skills
- Experience implementing security within AWS environments
- Previous customer-facing consulting or Professional Services experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
- Dev Sec Ops and CI/CD experience
- Experience with AWS WAF, Shield and Cognito
- Knowledge of vulnerability management and security monitoring
- Eligible to obtain UK security clearance
- Location
UK-based. Travel to customer sites may be required depending on project requirements.
