Important Information Before You Apply:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Have access to your own vehicle
  • Be able to travel throughout the FY4 area and surrounding communities
  • Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place
  • Be available to work weekends as part of a rolling rota

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Home Care Worker, you'll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life. Your role may include:

  • Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
  • Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines
  • Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
  • Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans
  • Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks
  • Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support
  • Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care
  • Working as part of a supportive and dedicated care team
  • Travelling between clients' homes across the Blackpool FY4 community
