Links View is a modern Extra Care Living facility offering 59 high-quality one and two-bedroom apartments for older adults who wish to retain their independence while benefiting from a safe, supportive community. As Duty Manager, you'll be a key figure within Links View, overseeing the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility and helping to create a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues alike. You'll provide leadership during your shifts, support your team to deliver excellent service, and act as a trusted point of contact for residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the service during your shifts.
- Providing guidance, support, and motivation to colleagues.
- Creating a safe, friendly, and supportive environment for residents and visitors.
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, care providers, and healthcare professionals.
- Monitoring staffing arrangements and escalating concerns where appropriate.
- Responding effectively and compassionately to incidents and emergencies.
- Maintaining accurate records, reports, and daily documentation.
- Promoting independence, wellbeing, dignity, and choice for all residents.
- Championing a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- GCSE English Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- A warm, professional, and approachable manner.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
- Experience within housing, care, health, hospitality, retirement living, or customer service settings.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
