About the Role As Duty Manager, you'll be a key figure within Links View, overseeing the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility and helping to create a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues alike. You'll provide leadership during your shifts, support your team to deliver excellent service, and act as a trusted point of contact for residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies. No two days are the same, making this the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and making a meaningful impact. What You'll Be Doing Leading the day-to-day operation of the service during your shifts. Providing guidance, support, and motivation to colleagues. Creating a safe, friendly, and supportive environment for residents and visitors. Building positive relationships with residents, families, care providers, and healthcare professionals. Monitoring staffing arrangements and escalating concerns where appropriate. Responding effectively and compassionately to incidents and emergencies. Maintaining accurate records, reports, and daily documentation. Promoting independence, wellbeing, dignity, and choice for all residents. Championing a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement. What We're Looking For We're seeking a positive, proactive individual who leads by example and shares our passion for providing outstanding customer service and support. Essential Previous supervisory or team leadership experience. GCSE English Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent). Good understanding of health and safety practices. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. A warm, professional, and approachable manner. Desirable Knowledge of safeguarding procedures. Experience within housing, care, health, hospitality, retirement living, or customer service settings.
