As a Home Care Assistant , you'll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life. No two days are the same, but your role may include: ? Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion ? Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines ? Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition ? Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans ? Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks ? Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment ? Offering companionship and emotional support ? Following care plans, policies and safeguarding procedures ? Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support ? Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care ? Working as part of a supportive and dedicated care team ?
