IC Talent is currently recruiting for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work full time across primary and secondary settings in Northampton (NN12). This role is ideal for a dedicated and resilient individual who has experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Experience working with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs would be highly beneficial.
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
- Support students across both primary and secondary age groups
- Assist with implementing EHCPs and individual support plans
- Support behaviour positively and consistently
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to create an inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with SEND students (essential)
- Experience supporting SEMH needs (desirable)
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Patient, adaptable and nurturing approach
- DBS on the Update Service OR willing to pay for a new DBS
- Full-time availability
