We are looking for a caring, patient, and proactive Teaching Assistant to support a non-verbal child 1:1 in a primary school setting. If you have experience with SEND children or used PECS, Makaton, AAC, or sign language, this could be the most rewarding role you take on.
Responsibilities
- Support one child throughout the school day
- Use alternative communication tools to unlock learning
- Build confidence, independence, and social skills
- Work closely with teachers and specialists
Requirements
- Experience with SEND or non-verbal children
