IC Talent is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEND / SEMH Teaching Assistant to work full time within a supportive and dynamic educational setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEND/SEMH needs
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Support students in managing behaviour and emotional regulation
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Monitor and report on student progress
Requirements
- Previous experience working with SEND and/or SEMH students
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must hold a DBS on the Update Service (essential)
- Full-time availability
