We're looking for passionate, resilient and caring Teaching Assistants to join a specialist education setting in King's Lynn , supporting pupils across both Primary and Secondary age groups.

About the School You'll be joining a specialist therapeutic school that provides full-time education and therapeutic support for children and young people aged 5–16 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The school offers a nurturing and structured environment where every child is supported to develop academically, socially and emotionally.

With small class sizes, a dedicated staff team and a child-centred approach, this is a fantastic setting for Teaching Assistants who are passionate about inclusive education and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.

Your Role As an SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom.

Your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

Helping children engage with learning and reach their individual goals.

Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.

Building trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced challenges in education.

Working closely with teachers, therapists and the wider school team.

Encouraging independence, confidence and personal development every day.

What We're Looking For We're keen to hear from candidates who have: Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) .

Experience supporting pupils with SEMH , Autism, ADHD or other additional needs.

A calm, patient and positive approach.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are happy to apply for one.
