A progressive and nurturing school in Warwickshire is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teacher to join their team. The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with additional learning needs, delivering engaging and tailored lessons that help every learner reach their potential. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering adapted and differentiated lessons
  • Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND, ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and learning difficulties
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting support strategies where needed
  • Creating a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
  • Working closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, pastoral teams, and external agencies
  • Supporting personalised learning plans and targeted interventions
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff
  • Promoting inclusion, wellbeing, and positive behaviour across the school

About You

We’re looking for an SEN Teacher who is:

  • QTS qualified (ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged)
  • Passionate about inclusive education and student support
  • Confident in adapting teaching to meet diverse needs
  • Calm, patient, and consistent in behaviour management
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Reflective, organised, and committed to ongoing development
