Job Description

Do you have the passion, patience and resilience to support children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants who can provide both academic and emotional support to students who need it most.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups
  • Helping to deliver engaging lessons and interventions
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Building strong, supportive relationships
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and outside agencies
  • Being a positive role model and mentor

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with SEMH, SEN, youth work, mental health or care
  • Calm, resilient and understanding under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to motivate and inspire students
  • Committed to safeguarding and inclusion
  • Open to ongoing training and development
