I C Talent are currently recruiting a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work in a “Good” rated Ofsted secondary school in Bootle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain classroom experience and support students across all subject areas.
Role Overview
- Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects (KS3 & KS4).
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
- Ensure students remain on task and engaged with their learning.
- Support pupils with their work and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Report any issues or concerns to teaching and senior staff.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has previous experience working with young people in a school or similar setting.
- Is confident managing a classroom and promoting positive behaviour.
- Is flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different subjects and year groups.
- Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply).
- Has strong communication and organisational skills.
