A well-known and highly regarded secondary school in the Peterborough area is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and established Science department, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons
  • Teach across Key Stages (KS3 and KS4; KS5 desirable)
  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations (and A-Level where applicable)
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and safety within practical lessons
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Valid DBS registered on the Update Service - essential
  • Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
  • Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics (desirable)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A genuine passion for Science and student development
