I C TALENT RECRUITMENT is working with schools based in Mansfield District who are looking for a School Site Manager to start as soon as possible. The position will be from Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year and 37.5 hours per week. The roles will initially be on a temporary basis, but with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the maintenance and security of school buildings and grounds
  • Managing minor repair work and liaising with contractors for major repairs
  • Ensuring heating, lighting, and alarm systems are functioning properly
  • Responsibility for building keys - locking and unlocking as required
  • Supervising cleaning staff and ensuring high standards of cleanliness
  • Conducting regular health and safety checks and risk assessments

  • Experience in managing premises, staff and maintenance, ideally in a school setting
  • Possess an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
  • Be reliable, resilient, and hard-working
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
