Are you a qualified School Nurse looking for a rewarding new role? I C Talent is working in partnership with a \”Outstanding\” school in St.Helens to recruit experienced and passionate School Nurses to provide high-quality health services to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing services within a school setting, supporting the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of pupils.
- Carry out health assessments, care planning, immunisations, and health promotion activities.
- Offer confidential support and advice to students and staff on a range of health issues.
- Liaise effectively with safeguarding teams, parents/carers, and external agencies.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to health and wellbeing policies.
- Support the school in managing medical conditions and emergency situations.
Candidate Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN/RSCN) with current NMC registration.
- Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nursing) qualification desirable.
- Previous experience working with children and young people in a school or community setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
