I C Talent Agency is proud to be working in partnership with a well-known and highly regarded secondary school in the Peterborough area, currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and established Science department, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons
- Teach across Key Stages (KS3 and KS4; KS5 desirable)
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations (and A-Level where applicable)
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and safety within practical lessons
- Contribute positively to the wider school community
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Valid DBS registered on the Update Service – essential
- Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
- Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics (desirable)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A genuine passion for Science and student development
Pay:
- Pay to scale (dependent on experience)
