As a PE Teacher looking for long-term supply work, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork and wellbeing.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated PE lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teaching a broad PE curriculum across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience welcomed where applicable)
- Promoting healthy lifestyles, sportsmanship and physical confidence
- Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress to support achievement
- Creating a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with the Head of PE, support staff and wider school team
- Adapting teaching to support students with SEND, EAL or additional learning needs
- Building strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues
- Contributing to extracurricular sports, clubs, fixtures and enrichment activities
About You
We are looking for a PE Teacher who is:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred; ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged to apply
- Confident teaching PE across KS3 and KS4
- Passionate about physical education, health and student wellbeing
- Calm, reflective and consistent in their approach to behaviour management
- A strong communicator who works effectively within a team
- Organised, adaptable and confident in managing practical lessons and routines
