We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school and sixth form in Coventry for an enthusiastic and committed Business Teacher to join their team on a long-term supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity to teach Business Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5 (GCSE and A Level), in a supportive and inclusive school environment rated "+Good" by Ofsted. The role includes full classroom teaching responsibilities, along with planning, preparation, and marking, which are accounted for in the pay structure aligned to the qualified teacher scale.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business Studies up to A Level
- Plan schemes of work and lessons
- Mark student work and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to the department's aims and wider school ethos
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK experience
- Experience teaching Business Studies (or related subjects) to GCSE and ideally A Level
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for the curriculum
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one via the agency) and right to work in the UK
