Are you a qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking for rewarding opportunities in local schools?
We are working closely with a range of Primary and Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools in the Liverpool/Merseyside area to provide skilled classroom support staff. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children's education and is looking for a flexible way to work in a variety of welcoming school environments.
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing in-class support to pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Delivering small-group or one-to-one interventions when needed
- Supporting children with additional learning or behavioural needs
- Helping the teacher prepare resources and maintain a positive classroom environment
- Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and development
- Upholding school behaviour and safeguarding policies at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Previous experience supporting pupils in a school setting
- Strong communication skills and a nurturing, patient nature
- Good understanding of the national curriculum and/or SEN support
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Flexibility and reliability to work in a variety of schools and year groups
