The Role
- Deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is advantageous but not essential).
- Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Science department and school staff.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A passion for inspiring students and raising attainment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, or willingness to obtain one.
