Are you a passionate Food Technology Teacher looking for a new opportunity? The school is ideally looking for someone to join them full-time, however, they are happy to consider part-time applications for the right candidate.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to students across a range of abilities. The role will include full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment and marking. You will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons
  • Prepare practical and theory-based lessons
  • Teach students across a range of abilities
  • Support students with practical cooking and food preparation
  • Complete planning, assessment and marking
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Encourage students to develop their confidence and practical skills
  • Work closely with colleagues and the wider school team

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about Food Technology and education
  • Creative, enthusiastic and engaging
  • Confident teaching practical lessons
  • Organised and able to manage planning and marking

  • A strong communicator and team player
  • QTS or equivalent is desirable
  • Previous experience teaching Food Technology within a school setting is desirable
