Are you an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant (TA) looking for an opportunity to work in a rewarding environment with children who have special educational needs?
ICTalent Recruitment is delighted to partner with an Outstanding Ofsted-rated special needs school based in Hodgehill, Birmingham. The school caters for both primary and secondary aged children with a range of special educational needs (SEN) and is looking to recruit a full-time Special Needs TA to start in September 2025. This position is offered on a temp to perm basis for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with SEN, hold at least aLevel 2 qualification in supporting children or education, and have a passion for helping children thrive in a nurturing environment.
The successful candidate will:

Hold a Level 2 or higher qualification in supporting children or education

Have previous experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)

Be patient, compassionate, and able to provide tailored support to children with diverse needs

Be able to work as part of a collaborative team, liaising with teachers, parents, and other professionals

Have strong communication skills and a proactive, adaptable approach to meeting individual needs

Be comfortable supporting both primary and secondary-aged children with various learning challenges
